A sculpture by Stojan Batič, a representation of Pan, was erected in front of Cankarjev dom cultural centre in 2014.
The sculpture, part of the legacy of Dr Zoran Kržišnik, was donated to Mitja Rotovnik, Director General of Cankarjev dom, an arts and congress venue, by one of Kržišnik’s heirs. Rotovnik was a long-time associate and friend of Kržišnik. Wishing to mark their close partnership in establishing and subsequently programming Cankarjev dom’s art exhibitions, Mitja Rotovnik suggested that Pan be installed on the lawn next to Cankarjev dom.
